The Gavioli Lambrusco Secco DOC BIO is the perfect example of a dry and mature Lambrusco that will pleasantly surprise you. Produced in the Modena region of Emilia-Romagna, this wine is made from the Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro variety, a well-known appellation for its quality.
This "frizzante" (sparkling) wine is crafted using the Charmat method, a fermentation process under pressure that creates fine, persistent bubbles, giving it a unique freshness. Its dark, almost violet color sets the stage for aromas of fresh fruits such as raspberry, blackberry, and elderberry, along with spicy hints and light tannins that refine the taste.
This Lambrusco is light and refreshing, without any heaviness, making it both interesting and enjoyable. Serve it between 10 and 15°C to fully appreciate its aromatic richness. With its refined flavors of fresh fruit and spicy notes, it pairs perfectly with a wide range of dishes. Ideal as an aperitif, it goes wonderfully with Italian salami, fine charcuteries, pasta, and even a ragù bolognese.
