Strawberry Shortcake with TOSCHI Fragoli Liqueur
Ingredients:
- 500g fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons TOSCHI Fragoli Liqueur
- 200g flour
- 50g sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 125g unsalted butter
- 120ml milk
- 200ml heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Preparation:
- Wash, hull, and slice strawberries. Marinate them with TOSCHI Fragoli Liqueur in a bowl for an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Incorporate butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add milk and mix to form a smooth dough.
- Roll out the dough and cut out 7cm diameter circles. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar to form whipped cream.
