CASTAGNER AMONG THE MOST AWARDED DISTILLERIES IN ITALY: 5 BIBENDA GRAPES FOR 4 GRAPPAS AND A GOLD MEDAL

The recognition of the excellence of products from the Venetian company by the prestigious Bibenda guide with two new exclusive references shows that Castagner is ready to compete in aging with other great spirits.

Castagner, renowned for its quality grappa, positions itself as one of the most important distilleries in Northeast Italy, garnering accolades. Last month, the company received the prestigious 5 Grapes award in the Bibenda 2024 guide, making it among the most awarded companies in Italy.

Four references obtained the highest recognition for wines and grappas, awarded annually by the Italian Sommelier Foundation: Grappa Fuoriclasse Leon 7 Years Reserve, Grappa Fuoriclasse Leon 3 Years Reserve, Grappa Reserve Aged in Cherry Barrique, and 5 Years Aged Grappa in cherry barriques. Furthermore, Grappa Fuoriclasse Leon 7 Years Reserve won the prestigious gold medal at the Spirits Selection of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

These flattering successes are backed by the latest turnover data, showcasing continued growth for the Venetian distillery. This confirms that grappa is ready to compete in aging with other renowned spirits such as whisky, cognac, and Armagnac.

Castagner's commitment to excellence remains steadfast.
