Terre di Chieti IGT Bianco: the perfect Italian white wine for grilled sardines

A fresh, balanced white from the hills of Abruzzo

Grown on the rolling hills of Migianico, in the Abruzzo region of central Italy, this wine is made from a classic blend of Trebbiano (85%) and Chardonnay (15%). The vines are planted at 200 metres above sea level, facing west and northwest, in mineral-rich clay-silt soils that help preserve freshness and structure.

In the glass, Terre di Chieti Bianco is light, floral, and citrusy, with aromas of white peach, lemon zest and wildflowers. It has 12% alcohol and a subtle touch of residual sugar (4.9 g/L), giving it a soft, smooth texture while keeping things refreshingly crisp. Serve well chilled, around 10°C (50°F), for maximum enjoyment.

Perfect pairing: grilled sardines and Italian white wine
This wine was practically made for the sea. Pair it with grilled sardines, simply dressed with lemon juice, olive oil and herbs, and let the wine’s acidity cut through the richness of the fish. It’s a match made in coastal heaven.

Pro tip: Serve with fennel salad and toasted sourdough rubbed with garlic for an effortless Mediterranean dinner.
Affordable, versatile, and perfect for everyday meals

The Terre di Chieti IGT Bianco is the kind of bottle you’ll want to keep on hand — whether for casual dinners, brunch with friends, or sunny picnics by the water. It’s approachable, authentic, and excellent value for money.
